About the Board

_The Arkansas Child and Abuse and Neglect Prevention Board is a nine-member, governor-appointed board. The board is responsible for:
  • oversight of the Arkansas Children's Trust Fund and the approval of programs funded by it;
  • collaborating with other organizations around the state to develop and promote programs that prevent child abuse and neglect;
  • disseminating information about the importance of preventing child abuse and the resources available to support prevention efforts.
