APEN is seeking nomination of both groups and individuals dedicated to the promotion of parenting
education and parental involvement as a means of strengthening families, schools and communities.
If you believe that you or someone you know has gone above and beyond to empower families to
help their children, through direct service, public advocacy, or collaboration with others, please
contact us . Include the name, address, phone number and email address of the nominee, as well
as the same information for the nominator, if different. Also, please specify the award for which the
nomination will be made (see below).
Requests for nomination packets must be received by April 1, 2009.
Nominees will be sent an application to be completed and made available for peer review.
Nominees and recipients will be recognized as part of the 11th Annual Arkansas Conference for
Parenting Education and Parental Involvement, November 16-18, 2009.
